The name and the bird, mostly. The post card itself — circular avatar, bold display name, grey handle, generous body text — reads the same way it always did, which is why graphics in this style still work.
The badge is the part worth thinking about. It now signals a paid subscription rather than notability, so a blue badge on a graphic says considerably less than it used to. Gold and grey variants are available here, or switch it off entirely.
Adding an image or a video inside the post
A post with media inside it is a different composition from a text-only card. The card gets narrower, gains a shadow, and floats over the background rather than lying flat on it.
The embedded media spans the full width inside the padding, so you only choose its aspect ratio and corner radius. Square works best for portrait canvases; 16:9 suits landscape exports.
Drop in an MP4, MOV or WebM and it plays in the preview. Trim the start and end, mute it if you want, and export an H.264 MP4 with the clip’s own audio. Encoding runs in your browser, so the footage never leaves your machine.
Sizing for each destination
Instagram and Facebook stories: 1080×1920. Feed posts: 1080×1350 portrait takes the most vertical space and performs best. Square 1080×1080 is the safe default when you do not know where it will end up.
For a YouTube community post or a link preview, 1280×720 landscape avoids the platform cropping your card in half.
