This tool creates original graphics inspired by the appearance of social-media posts. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp.

What the output is

A graphic made here is an image you designed. It is not a screenshot, not a capture of a real post, and carries no verification of any kind. The verification badge is a decorative design element you switch on yourself; it does not indicate that any account exists or has been verified by anyone.

Why that matters

Post-shaped images circulate faster than corrections do. A fabricated quote attributed to a real person can cause real harm even when the author intended a joke, because the graphic travels without the context that made it obviously a joke.

If there is any chance your audience will read the graphic as genuine, label it. The Brand panel has one-click labels (Created graphic, Mock post,Parody, Concept) that are drawn onto the exported image.

What we do about it

Every PNG export carries an embedded note recording that it was made with this tool. Most platforms strip image metadata on upload, so this is a good-faith marker rather than a guarantee.
Optional disclosure labels are one click away and are burned into the image.
The Austin Clip mark on a free export identifies the tool that made the graphic. It is a brand mark, not a misuse deterrent, and a paid plan removes it. The disclosure labels above are the deliberate signal, and they are always available whether you pay or not.

Legitimate uses

Quote cards for your own words, design mockups and comps, social graphics for a newsletter or podcast, clearly labelled parody and commentary, teaching material about misinformation, and screenshots of your own posts reformatted for another platform.
